Pazin leads the nation in scoring, joined by two teammates in the top 10
Forward Tyler Pazin, who is a senior at Norwich Free Academy, led the nation in scoring at the 18U AAA level this season. Two of Tyler’s teammates, Felix-Antoine Laflamme and Jacob Martineau, finished eighth and ninth, respectively.
Pazin scored 66 goals and notched 54 assists for the nation-leading total of 120 points in just 49 games. For context, the second leading scorer took 58 games to amass 114 points.
Felix-Antoine Laflamme, who played right wing on Pazin’s line, was the eighth-place finisher with 93 points – 33 goals and 60 assists. Laflamme and Pazin were arguably part of the leading offensive line in the country. Laflamme played 49 games.
Martineau, who finished ninth in the country, was one point behind Laflamme, scoring 48 goals and notching 44 assists for 92 points, a total he put up in just 41 games.
Norwich Hockey Club burst on the scene this year, finishing with a 34-15 record, falling just short in the championship game of the United Tier One Hockey League.
